BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATIONS
If your pet needs help with a behavioural issue, Behaviour Consulting with The Pet Behaviourist - Vanessa Ward may be a great option for you. I come to you, sessions are done in your home, with personalised plans to fit your pet’s needs and your lifestyle.
My behaviour consulting work takes a holistic approach which involves an intimate understanding of your animal’s natural and individual history. In order to do this a thorough history will be taken and discussed, including what your pet eats, how they play and any medication they are on. Using scientifically proven methods I combine your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your pet.
The aim is for you to live happy and fulfilled lives together in harmony.

A vet visit will be required prior to a behavioural consultation. Your vet will email me the results and I will send them a report. This is necessary because many medical problems first present themselves as behavioural problems and behavioural problems can lead to medical issues. For example a cat that persistently urinates outside of the litter box could be due to:
-
medical issue - idiopathic cystitis, feline lower urinary tract disease or an infection
-
environment issue - not enough/wrong type of litter box(es), substrate or location
-
behaviour issue - stress due to neighbouring cats or changes within the house
